37 Week Update

I have been completely MIA from this blog for about a month now since we've been insanely busy doing some really awesome stuff...like... 

• Moving into our new home with the help of some really awesome people 
• 2 Baby showers in one day thanks to my amazing family and best girls 
• Getting my sweet babe's nursery ready ...it looks gorgeous!  
• and finishing up last minute stuff at work...I'm DONE! for a whole year :)

and the countdown is on... 20 days to Baby R's due date! YIKES!

How far along?  37 weeks... FULL TERM!!

Total weight gain:  30lbs

Maternity clothes:  I mostly just want to be naked...except not around anyone...EVER.

Stretch marks: Still nothing :)

Sleep: Sleep is super uncomfortable now...like everything else.

Best moment this week: Finishing work... I couldn't be done at a better time.

Movement: She still manages to do whatever she does that makes my belly shake like crazy...even with very little space in there.

Cravings: None... I'm just trying to eat all of the fat food that I won't be able to eat in a few weeks. Nomm

Anything making you queasy? Nothing

Gender: Girl

Labour Signs: My belly feels like it's now in one constant contraction... it just gets a little weaker every once in a while...can't be long now.

Symptoms: Feeling pretty uncomfortable and immobile.  Lots of really cute swelling and none of my socks even fit me anymore... it's really hot.

Belly button: Still flat... I wonder how it will ever go back to normal.

Emotions:  Anxious and very irritated.  I feel pretty ready to get this show on the road and get back to my normal self plus one.  (apologies all around to my insanely supportive and patient hubby)

Excited for:  My water to break.  We are completely ready to make the trek to the hospital as soon as it's time...and... to meet baby girl and introduce her by name to everyone.
